I've never been dissapointed here! They don't really give you much food, so my husband is never satisfied. The spuds are great and very filling.

They now have Gluten Free bread, making for excellent sandwiches! Their chili and potatoes continue to be another great gluten free choice. I come here for lunch often with friends.

Great selection - the French dip and potato salad was good. Quick service and clean atmosphere. We will be back for sure!

This was my first time at a McAlister's and wasn't sure exactly what to expect. We walked in around 10:30 to grab some sandwiches before hitting the beach. The place reminded me of a Jason's Deli, with the sandwiches, potatoes and salads with sitdown server service. It was early enough that there was no one else there yet, but the service was still a bit slow. I ordered the Spicy Southwest Chicken Griller ($7.29) and was pleased with it. It consisted of grilled chicken chunks with avocado, poblano peppers, pepper jack cheese and a spicy ranch sauce. The sandwich had a good overall heat to it, and the avocado was a welcome addition to the sandwich to throw in a bit of coolness. It was served on a cibatta roll which wasn't too bready, like other chain deli ciabatta rolls I've had. The sandwich came with a side and I opted for the macaroni salad. I was not a fan of this, as it had waaaaay too much vinegar in it, so much that it over-powered all the other flavors. Definitely wish they went with a milder dressing/vinegarette for that salad. The missus went with The Veggie ($5.99.) For about six bucks she got lettuce, tomatoes, roasted red pepper and cheese on a pita with a Parmesan Peppercorn sauce. I felt that it was quite a bit for a simple vegetable sandwich. She enjoyed it enough, but it lacked some flavor since they failed to put the Parm Peppercorn sauce. She chose the fruit cup as a side and it was also terrible. The oranges were hard, the grapes were mushy and the honeydew had that nasty "not fresh" look, feel and taste to it. The sandwich and potato selection are promising, and I felt it had some better options available compared to a place like Jersey Mike or Subway. Unfortunately their side options are just not that great. I wouldn't be opposed to returning if we wanted to grab a quick sammy before going to the beach, but as far as sides go I would stick with the chips.

I work close-by and have gone there for lunch. Food is great and plenty of it as well. Reminds me of a Jason's Deli which I've been to in Florida.

I was in Myrtle Beach last weekend for the first time in 12 years. My friend and I were just driving down 17 and noticed this deli across from the Tanger Outlets and decided to stop in. We were very hungry and everything on the menu looked good. We changed our orders verbally to each other like 5 times - lol. The place was very nice and was clean. The order takers were nice and offered suggestions based on what you ordered. I had the 1/2 sandwich and salad combo. You could chose from ANY 1/2 sandwich and ANY 1/2 salad from the menu which was nice. Most places limit which sandwiches and salads can be part of the combo I had the the Ruben and greek salad. It was so good. I wasn't sure if it was so good because I was so hungry or because it was actually so good so I went the next day - hehe. And yes it was still so good.

If you have been to one McAlister's you have been to them all, you can mix and match sandwiches, soups and baked potatoes. We had to keep getting up to refill our drinks so the service after we got our food was not that great.
